"Casa Selvatica is beautiful, and as one of the oldest properties in the secluded Punta del Burro neighborhood, it sits back privately off the beach while still providing breathtaking views of the bay from various vantage points. Surrounded by jungle, it has a feeling of old world essence and its impressive long private entrance is festooned with massive blooming tropical fruits and flowers, towering palms and bamboo. The charming Spanish style home is cool and gracious with many elegant touches such as local tiles in the kitchen, shells as hooks in the baths, many fine local ceramics and works of art. Architecturally the house features fabulous spaces for privacy and comfort. The main house has two charming bedrooms each with their own balcony. The casita out back provides 3 more bedrooms, each with their own charming details. Pablo the house manager and Susana the house housekeeper and available cook were delightful, efficient and fun. The unexpected delight is Sal, the resident cat and mouser. Clearly the true owner of the house, Sal entertained us all….what a charmer."
